First, Little Willy couldn't see with his right eye when he woke up, it was swollen. After feeding his grandfather, he took his sled and head to town along with Searchlight. Then, Willy saw everyone when he reached Main Street. Next, the contestants positioned themselves getting ready for the race. Little Willy and Searchlight knew they will win. Finally, Mayor Smiley fired his pistol and the race.
